Formally endorsed as a “Project of State Significance” by the Minister for Planning, it involved the masterplanning and development of a commercial office business park in Burnley, housing the Australian headquarters of GE. Planning approval for 7 no. commercial and retail buildings was sought and received. Works completed included:

• a 14,000m² NLA 4.5 star NABERS commercial office, and associated carparking was constructed for GE;
• a two level retail building on Swan Street;
• grade carparking and precinct wide infrastructure services;
• the construction of a tram Superstop and associated road widening of heritage listed sections of Swan Street;
• construction of new high voltage electricity supply, sewer service and pumping station and mains water upgrade to service the Business Park and the surrounding Burnley area.
  

Management of a technically complex project with multiple stakeholders. Project manager responsible for the Masterplanning, authority approvals and compliance with authority requirements. PPM further managed the design, delivery and commissioning of all works.
